We can refer you to our Social Prescribing Link Worker who can help with non medical issues. These could be issues with housing, or benefits, or relationships which are causing you to feel anxious or stressed. If you would like to be referred to our social link workers or you would like to know more about what they offer please contact reception and we can arrange this for you.

The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) offers confidential advice, support and information on health-related matters. They provide a point of contact for patients, their families and their carers.

Gateshead Carers was formed in 1995 when a small group of carers got together in order to support each other. Today they have achieved the Trusted Charity Mark award recognizing the work they do in Gateshead. They believe that no carer should feel alone and it is vital that all unpaid carers feel supported in their caring role.

Healthwatch was launched in England on April 1 2013 to give users of health and social care services a powerful voice – both locally and nationally. Recognise whether and how your driving is changing and decide what you can do to cope with these changes and find help, such as medical advice, driving assessments and training and vehicle adaptations.
